35 year old female. diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at 25 years old. currently experiencing a flare up. new symptom as of wednesday is nausea and vomiting green bile at the time of painful bowel movement. is this an expected symptom with uc flare?

Severe nausea and bile vomiting seem not consistent with colitis flare which is usually manifested with abdominal pain and large bowel symptoms. Your current symptoms are more consistent with an acute gastroenteritis (viral or bacterial) than a flare up of ulcerative colitis. Good luck.
