A member asked:

My neutrophil count specifically has continually decreased over several years from 3.3 to .81. i have no symptoms, have had no infections, and feel very healthy. i'm concerned about leukemia, are there any other reasons for the decline in the count?

It is better for use if you repost your question with the WBC count & its differential when the neutrophil count was 3,300/microL and 810/microL (or 3.3 & 0.81 by the unit you use). In general, an absolute neutrophil count of 810/microL (0.81 by the unit you use) is abnormal which is called neutropenia. Normal Absolute Neutrophil Count (ANC) is above 1,500/microL or 1.5 by the unit that you use.
