A member asked:

Im young and have mild chest pain. went in for an ekg and it came out as lvh with repolarization abnormality and qrs (t) contour abnormality? does this mean heart failure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It doesn't mean heart failure but it indicates presence of cardiac structural pathology. Do you have a history of heart murmurs or hypertension? Family history of cardiac abnormalities? An echocardiogram will shed more light on your cardiac abnormalities. Consult a cardiologist for evaluation. Appropriate testing will be ordered.
