Can treated varicoceles and hydroceles that have been present for several years still increase fertility? doctors have told me not to worry about them previously when i have been younger?

Those 2 conditions rarely but may affect fertility. If that is the case, your semen should be abnormal and you should not blame to those conditions if your semen is completely normal. Good luck.

The surgeries may increase your sperm count and chances of fertility. Fertility involves many other factors -ova- uterus etc. So the Drs. are correct
