Varicocele is a medical condition that occurs when the veins within the scrotum become enlarged and twisted. It is a common condition, affecting approximately 10-15% of men. While varicoceles are usually harmless, in some cases, they can lead to fertility problems if left untreated for an extended period. The longer a varicocele is untreated, the more likely it is that permanent damage will occur.

Fertility depends on many factors other than total sperm count, Not all persons with varicocele are sterile. suggest get a baseline sperm count for evaluation and follow the advice of your urologist
