Egd findings, <5mm single papule no bleeding, small overlying erosion seen. erythematous duodenopathy biopsied. hx of gastric intestinal metaplasia. waiting on biopsies but what are the chances this is gastric cancer in a year?

Although the chances of developing gastric cancer are fairly small statistically, you will know much more after you get the results of the biopsies back. You can ask your gastroenterologist this specific question after they receive the biopsy results. He or she will have a more specific answer for you then we could give. Good luck.
