Lining is inflamed: The doctor who did your EGD should Rx, but it means that that lining of your stomach and areas of the intestine are inflamed. This is usually related to irritation from GI acid and often responds to a combination of Meds, and avoid foods/drugs that stimulate acid & include alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods, tomato, and drugs such as ibuprofen or oral steroid that thin the protective barrier.
