I got my hpv results and im confused 1. igp,hpv rfx 16/18 my results abnormal 2. hpv, cobas genotypes 16/18 my results negative for 16 negative for 18 i am confused what is my results ?

I agree it's a bit confusing. It appears the lab may use two different HPV genetic tests, IGP and Cobas (two different manufacturers). It appears IGP was positive for HPV 16/18 and Cobas negative. The positive results probably should be considered reliable, i.e. probably you have HPV 16 and/or 18. But discuss with your doctor. Good luck.

Cant comment on this report. Best is always have the test ordering physician explain all the results in detail to your satisfaction to avoid concern and confusion. PL do so
