No: Prior to exposure, before sexual activity has started, there are vaccines that can be administered to prevent most types of problematic hpv. There are two vaccines available, two for women, one for men. Nothing has been shown to cure hpv once contracted.

People with a normal immune system will have this clearing of the primary infection.However, HPV is a family of viruses (dozens of strains) well known for going into hibernation in your tissues and potentially returning in the future.The cancer related strains may take decades to give you cancer.
