I was told i have diverticulitis. its being treated with cefdinir due to allergies to other drugs. will cefdinir help any? how long should i notice improvement? :) i been having bouts of consipation and narrow like stool. thank you?

Constipation and narrow-like stool are not the typical symptoms of diverticulitis. Nowadays, most mild to moderate cases of diverticulitis are self limited, no need for antibiotic therapy and cefdinir is not often used for treating diverticulitis. Good luck.
