Can a problem with the liver (for example a high alt value) cause urticaria?

In Oriental medicine, urticaria could be one manifestation of an underlying liver disease and high ALT is also one sign of liver disease. However, in western medicine there is no such relationship. However, to my knowledge an allergic reaction can cause urticaria and cause liver dysfunction which can raise ALT. As I answered before, have the test done again before jumping to any conclusion.
