I had a upper enduo scopy done on the 15 th i still cant hold food down and hurting bad i was put on carlafate and protonix 40 mg ppi, im kinda scaredto take the meds i dont know if im alergice or not will they actually help heal a stomache ulcer?

Follow your gastroenterologist's advice. Carafate&protonix should help heal a peptic gastric ulcer. However, vomiting is concerning and should be brought to the gastroenterologist's attention. Are you eating soft bland,nongreasy foods? Were you tested for h pylori. Be sure to avoid aspirin,advil & aleve type meds,excess caffeine & avoid alcohol entirely.
