Do selective cox2 inhibitor nsaids completely eliminate the risk of ulcer/gastritis? or it only reduces it by a certain percentage. should a person with sensitive stomach still take a ppi along with selective cox2 for protection?

Although decreased, there is still a risk of gastritis or ulcer with these medications. Caution is still required. You should follow your physicians advice as to whether or not you need acid suppression along with them. Good luck.
