I took a omeprazole 20 mg otc at 2 pm today but i was put on protonix 40 ppi mg how long do i have to wait to take that new med is it 24 hours or longer,im very sensitive when taking meds,i have a stomache ulcer they said?

You can start the protonix the next day. Once you start it the day after the omeprazole dose, take it as prescribed by your GI doctor. Good luck to you!
