I take protonix and famotidine when i have stomach pain, but it does not work at all. my doctor says it is not an ulcer, because if it was, these medicines would work. i am still worried about ulcer because i take aspirin. is this true?

The doses you're taking may not be strong enough to treat a peptic ulcer. If your symptoms don't resolve consult a gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice. Any appropriate testing will be done.
