A member asked:

I know that rubber bands are used to perfect the bite in the teeth,i was wondering that when braces are removed, is it normal for the bite to not look as tight after a few weeks? because now theres no more force of the bands, so the bite loosens up?

Wearing your retainer should keep your teeth aligned after the brackets and rubber bands are removed.

Reassign the same question will not result in a different answer. You trusted your Orthodontist to treat you. He/she knows your occlusion best. We only have your very unscientific opinion as to what's going on. 1) Your Orthodontist is responsible for your post-treatment care. 2) teeth will continue to move throughout your lifetime unless retained. 3) If you are unsure, seek a second opinion.
