Your appliances will be removed when your orthodontist deems treatment completed. Although your teeth may be aligned, the bone needs to remodel so that the teeth are stable in their new positions, and that can take months. Ask your orthodontist, someone who knows your treatment better than anyone over the internet.

Assuming you are being treated by a specialist Orthodontist, your braces will be removed when your malocclusion has been corrected. Although average treatment time nis 18 months, treatment is individualized to resolve each patient's set of circumstances. From your description you still have a way to go. Ask your Orthodontist the question you just asked.us.
