My daughter has a double ear infection which she is on antibiotics for she is on cefiner because the amoxicillin wouldnt work and she has a white tougne im not sure if its milk or if its something else or the ear infection could be causing it?

If you also observe white, sticky exudate on her cheek, she may have thrush due to prolonged antibiotic use. However, if the white coat on her tongue can be clean easily with a wet gauze, you don't have to worry because white tongue is common if your baby is sick with poor oral hygiene, you should clean her tongue often. If thrush is the case, please contact your baby's pediatrician. Good luck.

Have her rinse mouth with dilute baking soda solution or brush tongue with baking soda if tolerated. No sweets. Mycelex lozenges work well on this
