My 18 month old has been sick, first double ear infection. now a cold. hes on his 7 th day of amoxicillin. he keeps sticking his tongue out and brushing it like something is on it. no white spots, i haven't seen a hair or anything. why?

Fluids: Continue his antibiotic, monitor temperature and encourage fluids. He may resolve his infection over the course of the next few days. Watch for any fever spikes or decreased fluid intake, and if these occur. pl.ease see the Emergency Department.
