Yes please go ahead and have the repair man come and fix you mother's oven. It has been safe for a long time already. Take all the normal health care precautions.

Confirming that COVID is picking up in some communities, best plan will include keeping your mother away from the repair crew ( either taking her out or staying in her room during repairs) and proper ventilation following repairs. Ultimately if contact cannot be avoided, using a mask should reduce the risk of contamination.
