Those findings can be seen in patient during a flare up (exacerbation) of chronic L-S spine disease. If there is no evidence of acute infection and you have history of low back pain you have nothing to worry. Ligamentum flavum hypertrophy is usually seen with spinal canal stenosis but it is not seen with this MRI, fortunately. Take care.
