Fusobacterium was long considered normal in the throat, but in recent years has been known to be an occasional cause of pharyngitis. If you have pharyngitis (sore throat, redness, etc), this could be the cause. However, it is an unlikely cause of an enlarged lymph node if that's your only symptom. If uncertain, ask your doctor about consulting with infectious diseases specialist. Good luck.
