I have to get four front teeth extracted before i get braces. i'm self conscious, so how long will it take before the gaps close completely w/ braces?

Think of it this way, if you had a broken leg you would have to wear an ugly bulky cast, tut in the end it's worth it. Make sure you are being treated by a fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist, and discuss your concerns with him/her.
