INFLAMMATION: Inflammation of the gums caused by plaque will make the gums bleed during brushing. You may have a simple case of gingivitis or a more severe form of gum disease (periodontitis). See your dentist for an exam.

Periodontal disease: This si one of the first warnign signs of periodontal or gum disease. You need to see your dentist or a periodontist, a gume specialist, for an evlaution and treatment.
