A rise in the PSA does not necessarily mean you have prostate cancer at all. You should see a urologist for an evaluation. Sometimes, a benign process, like prostatitis due to infection, can cause the PSA to increase. So, see a urologist for an examination and evaluation to determine what the diagnosis is. Your muscle aches may be unrelated. Good luck!
