10yrs after getting circumcised & my penis still has a lot of excess foreskin. the people who circumcised me only cut the skin like a banana and never removed any skin from the shaft at all. it looks weird and is destroying my selfconfidence?

What you describe is one of the original ways it was done. It is a simpler method but still done in some parts of the world. In doing so it eliminates the risk a tight foreskin would pose to the glans. If you don't want it to be different than others, you can have a trim job. Be aware it is a significant procedure and will require weeks to fully heal.

Discuss this with the doc who did it. If not happy pl see a Urologist for further treatment
