Research does tell us that anxiety is a risk factor for dementia. But there are many ways to manage anxiety, including meditation, mental health therapy, acupuncture, medication, exercise, and deep breathing, to name a few. If you are struggling seek help early.

If you are experiencing depression and anxiety please see a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy to help. You may need medication managed by a Psychiatrist. You may also need a physical exam to rule out any illness causing these symptoms.
