Is it possible that this be early symptoms of dementia if if i have depression at times and lots of crying?

Not necessarily: Mood and personality changes can be one of the early signs of dementia but the main symptoms are a cognitive decline such as memory loss, disorientation, word finding difficulties and confusion. It would be best to have an evaluation from your doctor as there can be other causes for the depression and crying episodes.
