A successful weight loss program depends on both what you eat and how your body responds. I would never consider a baked potato and rice a worthy diet program. A potato and rice are predominately carbohydrates and provide little in the way of protein needed for body maintenance. Carbs are quicky converted to sugar and either used or stored. Please consult your doc/and a dietitian for a proper diet

Diet and physical exercise remain the mainstay of any weight loss program. Joining a weight loss group or program may help in keeping you focused and keeping up with realistic goals. Controlling your calorie intake is otherwise critical, but only a part of a comprehensive weight loss program, timing and type of food for your main meal will have to change to earlier in the day and varied, less carb
