Balance your diet: Your diet is out of balance which is probably why you are not feeling your,best. While protein is known to be the energy food, if not eaten in balance,with carbs your weight loss and health will suffer. It will also make your eating plan more difficult to stay with. Try adding some whole grains and fruit into your diet in moderation and see if things get better. Don't drink too much caffeine.

I agree with Dr. Berman. And remember, carbs are not the enemy here - calories are. High fiber foods (which are made of carbs) are essential to dieting as they are filling, low calorie, and prevent constipation. Insoluble fiber isn't even absorbed and contributes nothing to weight gain.
