I've had very bad toothache pain over the weekend my dentist prescribed amoxicillin figuring with the pain not being able to be eased my tylenol or orajel its an infection i got the antibiotics today but the pain isn't as bad should i still take it?

If you stop tylenol and pain comes back then you should start taking antibiotic.

Take the entire prescription as directed to control the infection so your dentist can properly treat you.

Pain, inflammation probably due to infection. If you don't take the entire course of meds (take them all directly as directed) expect 1) Sudden excruciating flare-up, and 2) spread of infection through circulatory system to other organ systems.
