My blood glucose level is 105 mg/dl after fasting for 12 hours. my symptoms are bad muscle cramping during exercise, always thirsty, and frequent urination. i also do a low carb diet. could i have low insulin and my muscles arent getting glucose?

Would worry first about high glucose and diabetes as your symptoms are typical of diabetes. Insulin resistance is a common mechanism and seeing your doc for an exam and further workup would be best.

Your information is consistent with insulin resistance. not low insulin. If you are even slightly overweight, losing weight is imperative, as is increasing your physical activity/exercise.
