Adrenal insufficiency does cause low serum sodium but the potassium is usually high. Since your urinary sodium level is inappropriately high, inappropriate serum antidiuretic hormone syndrome could be present& would explain low serum sodium but this can occur in adrenal insufficiency. Drinking too much water is another causes of low serum sodium but urine sodium wouldn't be elevated. ?endocrinolo
