It would be preferable to consult your doctor who may prescribe Statin about making changes in your diet and increasing physical activity. It is likely that your lipid abnormalities will normalize if bring your BMI to less than 25, easier said than done. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless.
