A member asked:

When i wake up my neck cracks a lot and throughout the day my bones always need cracking and my back feels tight. is this cause i dont get enough calcium, low bone density or something else?

Cracking, snapping, popping sounds in the neck are usually not signs of any deficiencies or bone pathology but are caused by tendons&ligaments sliding over joints& air bubbles in joints. However, if these symptoms are very frequent, they could be due to cartilage damage within joints. An orthopedic specialist can evaluate and advise you. Any appropriate testing will be done.
