Urologist noted a small epididymal cyst on the bottom of my right testicle, which i can feel myself. did ultrasound, no abnormalities noted. however, the cyst wasn't found either. is it common for epididymal cysts not to show up on ultrasounds?

I would say the ultrasound will be more sensitive than your finger for detecting a cyst.

Can depend on the size at times. The technique of the ultrasound tech is very important in getting an ultrasound and can be missed
