Since your symptoms are only one sided, I have to conclude that the persistent numbness & the other more bizarre symptoms are due to injury in the left cerebral cortex from the brain surgery. I'm unclear as to whether an EMG would document this. I'd have to defer to the neurologist's judgement & opinion.
