Each medication has its own side effects which could be rare but it does happen. If my patient experiences a new symptom after taking a new med I always take it seriously. If sx seems tolerable I will advise to continue and most will overcome it after a couple weeks. However, if the sx seems intolerable, I will change to a different med in the same group as a trial.
