You don't mention what your accurate heart rate or whether the rhythm is irregular. I assume persistent fever isn't causing the rapid heart rate. Absence of chest distress & shortness of breath would be good signs, but if you're resting pulse is continually over 100 or if the rhythm is irregular, it warrants an evaluation by your physician.

Probably too later for COVID meds. But discuss with local Dr who will known more about what is going around in GA.Most do not have serious problems especially if vaccinated. But if you get short of breath go to ER. If not vaccinated follow CDC.gov guidelines.
