Im on day 9/ 10 counting from zero of my covid infection. i woke up this morning coughing for 3 hour straight. ive barely slept what can i do/take for this? the cough just got worse. a lot of meds give me heart palpitations or make me feel weird?

Rinsing nasal passages with saline often is effective in reducing the symptoms of cough and congestion. A dry cough is often associated with bronchospasm. Discuss whether you need a trial of Albuterol with your physician. A honey based cough preparation is available over the counter.
