A member asked:

Can a person reverse serious dehydration in muscles and body that long term alcohol use causes, if you stop drinking? are some of the effects of alcohol reversible if a person stops drinking?

Regardless of the cause, dehydration can be corrected by increased intake. Some effects of alcohol can be reversed but some do not. Give example: alcoholic cirrhosis is irreversible but alcoholic hepatitis can improve with abstinence. The most important principle you should remember is never too late to stop a bad habit.
