Yes!: Drinking alcohol in moderation will not affect your ability to gain muscle. Building muscle requires extra protein in your diet (2 grams/kg body wt) and exercise of the muscles you want to build. Heavy drinking (more than 3 drinks a day for most people) can impair the liver's ability to handle digested protein and help process it to make more muscle. Have a good time, but don't drink and drive!
