Was diagonased with 5mm ureter stone stuck at top of ureter with severe pain..but from past 10 days i have no severe pain and vomiting but from 4 days having am having lower one side back pain comes and go.so is my stone passed or still stuck?

At times, it takes many weeks and months before a 0.5 cm stone is passed out. If urinalysis showed blood in the urine, stone may be still at the distal ureter. If possible, a low radiation CT of the abdomen and pelvis should be done.

If you have not passed it then there is no other way to tell you where it is except X-ray or ultrasound. It is best to stay under care of a Urologist and let her/him monitor you. Drink plenty of water and strain your urine every time you pee and save the stone for analysis if you pass it. Good luck
