Well you might get better! Not a bad side effect. ;-). This short term burst of steroids should not likely cause and side effects unless you are allergic to it. Go to Drugs.com and review possible side effects. And then discuss with Dr and decide if possible side effects are more bothersome in you than your red swollen eyes. Discuss.
