Good day, i'm a breastfeeding mum. i have this unexplained allergy, where i just swell. only this time i have the swelling on my lip, it's itchy, red and irritating to skin. can i have prednisone?

Yes but...: The prednisone mimics natural chemicals both you & baby make so it is relatively safe to take while breastfeeding. In higher amounts it can interfere with babies natural immune system. I would try to sort out what is triggering the reactions rather that just treating the symptoms.
