Have hives, redness, swelling of face, ear, left side of neck 5 days after taking clindamycin. do have benadryl and prednisone available to take---what dose of each should i use?

The doses must be determined by your physician who has examined you for this current condition. and knows your medical history as heavy doses of prednisone can affect blood pressure,blood sugar and cause sleeping difficulty. Can we be sure that the swelling of the face,ear&neck is part of the allergic reaction & not active infection that has not resolved and requires continued antibiotic treatment
