On june 3 i was a stung by something on my middle finger. it was red and swelling. since then ive been on two rounds of prednisone. recheck last wk. dr. said give it more time. can you have joint stiffness weeks later? what type bite causes it?

Overwhelming stings do not penetrate to a joint. They can caused severe swelling and pain and the duration and severity depends what bit you. Your docs advice is good. Hope you do well
