I am a nephrologist and I have been consulted many times for polyuria in the hospitals and at times in the office. Endocrinologist does not involve in those cases unless patient has polyuria due to uncontrolled diabetes mellitus which can't be controlled by a hospitalist or a primary care doctor but it is rare. You should see a nephrologist if your intake and output have been accurate.
