A member asked:

Congenital neutropenia patient since birth. had bone marrow biopsy 3mths ago normal but blood levels were disrupted due to neupogen use 2yrs ago stopped taking neupogen 1yr ago. rbc are normal but platelet are very low 114uk. could this be mds or aml?

I believe that your bone marrow biopsy has ruled out MDS & AML. You don't mention what your wbc & differential count is. You appear to have idiopathic mild thrombocytopenia but a platelet count of 114,000 is sufficient to keep you out of harm's way with respect to clotting ability. Your hematologist is best to advise you.
