A member asked:

I've had clicking in my right ear only when i swallow for almost 2 years now...my ent checked for nasal cancer and deemed the clicking as "something that just happens sometimes ".now, i have intermittent whooshing rhythmic sound in the right ear?

The whooshing you describe would be a form of pulsatile tinnitus. Sometimes it's explained by pointing to blood flow through an artery. This would be synchronous with your heart rate. If you aren't satisfied with your ENT, consult a specialist in tinnitus at the department of otolaryngology at a university hospital near you.
